Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Promotes and implements Regional HR values and People agenda by planning and
managing human resources programs to position adidas as the employer of choice
in Egypt. HRM will support the people management functions that underpins the
business culture; the broad areas include: employee relations, rewards, career
path, communications, HR operations and performance management. HRM will lead
and direct the HR team to enable them deliver a comprehensive HR service to
the business.


Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to an inspiring working environment, strong performance culture and elevate adidas to become an employer of choice.
* Build up and maintain a close relationship with internal customers to ensure that business needs are taken into consideration in developing HR initiatives and that HR Standards/Procedures are fully understood and implemented.
* Work closely with Line Management in structuring and developing their respective teams (e.g. team line up, regular HR fitness check) and support agreed action plans.
* Inform the organization about the available HR tools & programs and encourage using them.
* Successfully build up an employee relation management and stand as a competent and accepted contact partner.
* Develop the functional and competency skills of direct reports on and off the job.
* Partner up with leaders on employee engagement strategy and plans.
* Support Performance Management including low performance management and disciplinary measures in alignment with store managers and line managers.
* Support the implementation of Employee & Management Development tools and concepts (such as Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives). This also incorporates liaison with Line Management and employees in regard to training activities.
* Ensure proper updates of SAP modules and HR reports on a regular basis.
* Partner up with Regional Talent Acquisition team for recruitment activities and campaigns.
* Reward advice and support employees on company benefits.
* To implement & execute proper administration of payroll and employees' contracts.
* Ensure proper handling of respective administration tasks.
* To ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures and processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Well-organized, a self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative
* Customer-oriented, approachable and strong interpersonal skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A good team player with supervisory and management skills
* Good organization and problem-solving skills
* Good MS-office skills, SAP experience is a plus
* Good Labor Law knowledge


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* University degree or MBA in business ideally with HR focus
* Minimum of ‎7 years progressive work experience in the field of HR; preferably in an international organization (ideally in Retail working with Field organization)
* Leadership: > ‎2 years
* Project management experience preferable
* English fluent (written and oral)
* SAP experience is a plus
