Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Administrator - LAN to join our IT team and
support our local area network (LAN) infrastructure. As an Assistant
Administrator - LAN, you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring
network devices, resolving network connectivity issues, and ensuring the
security and integrity of our network. The ideal candidate will have a strong
understanding of LAN technologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving
skills, and a desire to learn and grow within our organization.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring optimal uptime and
availability.
Install, configure, and maintain LAN infrastructure devices, including
switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
Monitor and enforce network security policies, including firewall and VPN
configuration.
Implement and manage network backup and recovery procedures.
Work with other members of the IT team to identify and implement network
enhancements and upgrades.
Document network topology and configuration changes.
Stay up-to-date with emerging LAN technologies and trends.

Requirements:
Bachelor 's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related
field is preferred.
‎2+ years of experience in LAN administration.
Strong understanding of LAN technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing,
and switching.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds).
Experience with firewall and VPN configuration and management.
Familiarity with network backup and recovery procedures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
