Join a team to deliver first class service
As a Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform
the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing
and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all test with minimal
instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst
complying with HS &E policies.
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing pre-job checks and basic onsite maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of equipment
* Operating and troubleshooting production machines to ensure reliability, safety and delivery
* Reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly prints and parts lists, and following procedures and maintenance practices
* Using measurement and gauging equipment and processes to solder and assemble mechanical devices
* Following internal HSE policies to ensure safety and compliance.
* Following and maintaining assembly records and communications to ensure compliance and regulations are followed
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have Diploma or equivalent in a mechanical related discipline
* Have ‎5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance
* Have previously worked in the petrochemical industry for ‎2+ years
* Have understanding of field equipment
* Have good oral and written communication skills
* Have ability to influence others and lead small teams
* Have effective problem identification and solution skills
