You will be responsible for activities aimed at proving a concept to be valid
or technically feasible. The application of scientific / engineering
methodologies will be administered. Objective of demonstrating through test or
analyses the performance and implementation potential of a concept.
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Conducting routine laboratory tests, including the necessary checks and operations of equipment required in the laboratory.
* Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
* Executing routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision.
* Performing moderately complex assignments which may include equipment, facilities or product design.
* Carrying out all required responsibilities safely and as described in the standard operations manual. Communicates results to supervisor in detailed manner.

To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a bachelor 's degree in chemistry or chemical Engineering.
* Have at least ‎3 years' experience in a related field
* Have good oral and written communication skills.
* Have intermediate to advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Have good understanding of plant safety.
