Lead a team to deliver first class service
As an Operations Shift Supervisor, you 'll work directly in the production
area in the plant. Lead the daily work of employees to ensure compliance with
health, safety, environment and quality programs. Coordinate activities with
area supervisor regarding daily duties of plant workers and manage overtime
schedule accordingly.
As an Operations Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
* Demonstrating leadership and personal discipline in performing tasks to ensure product quality and safety for all employees
* Executing knowledge of products and/or understanding of Quality Control analysis to recommend adjustments.
* Performing technical skills at a high level within a specific area of expertise.
* Demonstrating skills to learn new processes and exhibit deep attention to detail
* Solving complex problems and multitask in a rapidly changing environment.
* Possessing a thorough knowledge of HS&E and quality guidelines

* To be successful in this role you will:
* Have Diploma or equivalent
* Have ‎8+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing and previous experience as a supervisor
* Have understanding of all processes, procedures and safety risks associated to the plant processing areas
* Have good oral and written communication skills
* Have good interpersonal and leadership skills
* Have ability to influence others and lead small teams
* Have effective problem identification and solution skills
