Become a part of our international Operations team at our location Dammam,
Saudi Arabia. For the next possible date we are looking for you in Full Time
(40h/week) as Project Coordinator.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Handling and managing general cargo and project shipments, incl. full operational (technical) and cost control / profitability (commercial) aspects
* Serving as a point of contact for clients, partners and other offices for any project operations-related issues
* Shipping all kind of cargo, incl. out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargo across the globe
* Coordinating and negotiating with subcontractors, sourcing competitive rates from potential subcontractors
* Calculating and monitoring project profits
* Supporting sales team in writing up offers and proposals to clients
* Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment
* Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc.

Your contribution:
* Successfully completed training in the field of freight forwarding
* Work experience in the freight forwarding industry
* Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations, coordination and management
* Know-how in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, incl. break bulk, is an advantage
* Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
* Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail
* Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
* Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
