Training & Development Supervisor

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role Training
Supervisor to DPDHL JV based in Al Khobar.

Objective:

To implement industry-leading training programs for our company. To assess
current training and development systems, develop new training programs,
implement measurement tools, and provide feedback. You may also be required to
conduct research to identify specific staff training needs.

General Responsibilities:

Develop training plans to effectively meet these needs and Analyze training
programs.
* Support the Training and Development Unit Head manage the implementation of the training plan, including the efficient management of training budget.
* Develop relationships with external training suppliers in the Kingdom and internationally to understand their capabilities and be able to bring in the best expertise and place people optimally on external courses.
* Coordinate the logistics for training delivery (e.g. training facilities, travel of external trainers, etc.)
* Evaluate the effectiveness of the training offered.
* Manage the delivery of appropriate induction programs for new recruits.
* Implement the processes of on-the-job training, and ensures specialists and associates are aware of the requirement to coach and develop the performance of their people.
* Develop and maintain external contacts to keep up with the developments in training and training requirements, both nationally and internationally.
* Provide support for the professional development of staff reporting directly to you.
* Support the Training and Development Unit Head in developing internal training materials (e.g. manuals, presentations, etc.)

Qualification:
*
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in human resources or
related field preferred.
* SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
* ‎8 Years in relevant experience.

Knowledge & Skills:
*
Supervise, guide, and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities
in accordance with the policies and procedures
* Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of direct reports
* Provide companies with classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
* Supervise technical training for staff.
* Create testing and evaluation processes.
* Prepare and implement training budget.
* Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations.
* Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management.
* Provide opportunities for team members, to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvements, innovation, and knowledge sharing initiatives
* Excellent communication skills (Arabic & English).
