ABOUT SHIFT EV:
Shift EV is a fast growing electric vehicle technology company, based in
Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in
Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain
solutions. We developed the first automotive grade industrial electrofitting
process to reduce the cost and speed of electrification by an order of
magnitude, and setup MENA’s first state-of-the-art battery manufacturing
plant. You will work with world-class technology veterans from MIT, Intel and

YOU’LL WORK ON:
The Commercial Director is responsible for the overall company revenue growth,
reporting directly to the CEO. You will lead teams across sales, account
management and customer success to deliver fleet electrification solutions to
commercial fleet owners and operators. You will also play a critical role in
defining and launching new EV new products and new markets. You will
collaborate with the leadership on developing creative go-to-market and sales
channels.
YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
* Commercial Strategy: Drive company growth by collaborating with the leadership team on setting and executing company strategy, revenue goals and commercial strategies.
* Business Development: Develop partnerships, go-to-market strategies and new sales channels.
* Sales: Own sales of existing and new products from strategy to execution, including planning, operations and decision making.
* Account Management: Represent Shift EV with key accounts to accelerate fleet electrification, and develop our account management operating system.
* Customer Success: Own customer success from fulfillment to onboarding and after sales services.
* Commercial Leadership: Hire, motivate and manage the excellence of commercial professionals across sales, account management, customer success and fulfillment.
* Cross-Functional Leadership:
YOU ARE:
* A track record of success in launching and selling new products with revenue or P&L; responsibility.
* Proven leader with demonstrated ability to lead commercial professionals.
* An excellent communicator who is able to represent the company with strategic stakeholders.
* World class prospecting and negotiation skills.
* Strong technical background or sufficient curiosity to learn the inner workings of EV fleet solutions.
* Naturally quantitative, with a strong finance / analytics background to effectively drive a value-based sales process with a heavy financing component.
* High integrity.
* Passionate about climate change mitigation or electrification.
* A resourceful problem solver with a track record of working on entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial projects.
* You have a lot of grit and agility to work with ambiguity and uncertainty.
* (Nice to have) Deeply knowledgeable about fleets.
