ABOUT SHIFT EV:

Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain

transformative potential.
YOU’LL WORK ON:
As a Head of Supply Chain, this key leadership role will be responsible for
overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring
seamless coordination, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the procurement,
production, and planning of our electric vehicle products.
YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
* Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives.
* Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and implementing supplier performance evaluation and improvement programs.
* Develop a multisourcing strategy aligned with the company’s objectives, considering factors such as cost, quality, reliability and risk mitigation. Identify potential sources and evaluate their capabilities capacity and compatibility with the organization’s requirements
* Oversee demand forecasting and inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs and stock-outs.
* Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency, including streamlining procurement processes, optimizing transportation and logistics, and reducing lead times.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, sales, and finance, to ensure effective integration and coordination of supply chain activities.
* Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain and logistics, proactively recommending and implementing changes to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Manage risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain, ensuring business continuity.
YOU ARE:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience (‎10+ years) in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry, with a focus on end-to-end supply chain optimization.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, demand and supply planning and logistics.
* Demonstrated experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
* Proficiency in using supply chain management softwares and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, delivering results within deadlines.
