Accountabilities:
* Roll out food safety awareness to the plant team.
* Provide initial and ongoing trainings regarding the GMP's and personnel hygiene to the entire plant employees and ensure plant compliance.
* Supervise the daily implementation of all food safety related procedures and records to ensure food safety programs are executed and documented correctly
* Follow the AIBI standards for food safety through corrective action plans and constant follow up.
* Conduct internal AIBI audits in the plant every month and assure corrective actions resulting from internal audits are completely and accurately executed in a timely manner.
* Prepare for the external AIBI audit and participate actively on it.
* Mandate compliance with AIBI food safety pest control regulations.
* Ensure PI minimum mandates compliance.
* Keep himself/herself updated with all that is new in AIBI standards through trainings and conferences.
* Report on a monthly basis status of food safety measures to the central quality team through CAP and scorecards.
* Develop/review all documents required by the AIBI standards concerning food safety and follow up on their application.
* Put on file all AIBI standards, procedures and documents.
* Coordinate with JD to ensure Heavy metal elimination in annual samples tested in Cork.
* Lead HACCP/ISO22000 implementation when required.
* Monitor and control foreign objects in all areas of the plant.
* Assume other duties as assigned by area management.
Measures:
* Meet AIBI audit annual target score
* Successful HACCP/ISO22000 surveillance audits
* Cork annual results regarding MM and IW compliance.
* Cork monthly results regarding foreign matters and lead remediation standards.
