Job Description:
Due to the expansion of works at the awesome Yanbu Industrial City Program
Parsons are looking to hire a Training Coordinator to support the overall
training function and Program training Manager in the delivery of a multi -
year Training Program serving the professional development needs and
continuous best practice of a diverse staff base which includes not only
members of the Parsons SAPL Team, but also the Client - The Saudi Royal
Commission.
Key activities for this role will include but are not limited to:
* Map out annual training plans for each department
* Source training solutions to meet identified requirements
* Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g., simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
* Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
* Use known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques
* Design, prepare and order training aids and materials
* Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
* Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
* Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
* Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
* Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
We are seeking applicants with already proven Training Coordination skills. It
is envisaged that the successful applicant will have had exposure within heavy
industries (such as manufacturing / O&G) where the emphasis on training is
heightened. In addition the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
his / her experience and exposure to all phases of training delivery including
instructional design, coordination, set up and resource the training sessions,
manage attendance, provide auditable information.
Although this role will operate across all forms of required training. Health
and Safety Training will play a large part of the role and exposure and
experience in HSE Training is a must.
Furthermore the successful applicant will posses the following credentials:
* Bachelors Degree in Training / HR / Other related field
* A minimum of ‎5 years proven work experience as a Training Coordinator / Facilitator
* Knowledge of Learning Management Systems
* Experience of handling multiple training events concurrently
* Extensive knowledge of design theory and implementation
* Proven ability to deliver the full training cycle
* Full familiar with modern training techniques and methods
* Experienced in e-learning platforms
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* Fully proficient with MS Office Products
Finally, any applicant must be able to demonstrate strong communication
skills; have a 'can do' attitude with strong problem solving skills; excellent
time management and organizational skills.
