Description

Job Purpose

• Prepare, analyse, and update the company's ‎5 years long term financial plan.


• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the company actual business performance drivers and root cause of variance against approved budget to update the long-term plan with the latest business changes.


• Support strategic decision making by conducting strategic projects assessment on both core and beyond the core future investments


• Prepare business review presentations to Etisalat group and the BOD to acquire the needed approval on EM budget and business plan.


• Work on developing corporate finance long-term business plans required by syndicated banks or investors to acquire banking credit facilities or raise company's capital.


• Participate in applying corporate valuation methods to calculate Etisalat Enterprise and Equity value using i.e. discounted free cash flow, terminal value, weighted average cost of capital…etc.

Report To Position Name
Business Planning:
 Actualize business plan financial model by all necessary historical data
required for planning purposes:
o Commercial details by revenue streams, segments, traffic, subscribers and
all commercial OpEx
o Network OpEx & Capex
o All other departmental OpEx & CapEx
o Detailed financials Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & cash flow)
 Work closely with other departments spokes to update the company's ‎5 years
long term business plan financial model (EM and MISPs) with:
o ‎5 years Commercial plan for revenues details by revenue streams, segments,
traffic, subscribers and all commercial OpEx
o ‎5 years Network OpEx & Capex based on plan presented from commercial side
o IT and Administration CapEx and OpEx requirements
o Staff cost details as per group description and targets
o All other OpEx required for completion of 5yeras plan (regulatory expenses,
depreciation, interest, taxes, others….)
o Updating long term financials to figure out financing gap and company's cash
position
 Participate in annual budget and forecasts review to assure compliance with
company's Business Plan and to figure out variations from current business
plan.
 Participate in applying corporate valuation methods to calculate Etisalat
Enterprise and Equity value using i.e. Discounted free cash flow, terminal
value, weighed average cost of capital …etc 
Preparation for required business plan analysis (KPIs, debt balances, cash
flows) required by management, shareholders and external parties i.e Auditors

Prepare business review presentation submitted to the group and the board on a
yearly basis to acquire the needed approval on EM budget and business plan 
Participate in consolidating and analysing country historical and forecasted
economic indicators required for planning purposes (Inflation, GDP, currency
rates, population…)
 Participate in upload and submission of annual BP (Profit &loss and balance
sheet) to Etisalat Group (Hyperion-HP).
Strategic Decisions - Business Plan 
Debt Financing: participate in developing corporate finance long-term business
plans required by syndicated banks to acquire banking credit facilities and
preparing detailed analysis required by banks.
 Equity financing: participate in developing investors required business plan
and analysis to support financing decision 
Strategic Directions: participate in preparing what if scenarios for corporate
core investments and identify the most beneficial and consistent option with
the company's long-term objectives
 Evaluating potential investments beyond telecom core: work on financial
research, analytics and supporting analysis related to core and beyond the
core investments 
Work closely with the strategy team to support them by all financial analysis
required for management and board
 Revenue plan: responsible for revenue planning cycle including all related
analysis, reviews and required presentations by CFO and CEO

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

• University Degree in Accounting, economics, Business administration


• Excellent Computer skills, MS Office is required.


• Excellent in Arabic & English (Reading, Writing & Oral).

QUALIFICATIONS_DESIRABLE

Strong communications skills

EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL

• Minimum ‎7 years' Experience.

EXPERIENCE_DESIRABLE

• Experience in finance


• Experience in financial modelling and analysis


• Telecom experience

CERTIFICATIONS
* CMA/CFA/Masters is an asset
