About This Job:
Astellas is currently hiring a District Manager to be based in Giza, Egypt.
The role will be reporting directly into the Business Unit Director, Egypt.


Purpose of the Position:
To build and execute strategies to meet sales goals for the area; to drive
area sales performance, market share and optimal resource utilization; to
build effective and enduring business relationships with key customers and
stakeholders.
To lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of pharmaceutical Sales
Representatives; to promote Astellas as a leader in general or specific
pharmaceutical areas.
To apply brand strategies to develop and implement area business plans.
Build effective and enduring customer relationships; identifies and works
closely with the most significant customers in your area & manage and optimize
effective allocation of resources to deliver required business results.
Develop an in-depth understanding of the market environment and customers;
communicates customer insights to internal stakeholders and supports
development of new business strategies; identifies top business opportunities
or gaps through analysis of available reports.
Serve as a communication bridge from Senior Management to Sales
Representatives.


Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Previous experience as FLSM in other multinational pharma companies (Area
Manager/District Manager or similar position)
Preferably knowledgeable within Urology. Experience in other speciality
therapeutic areas relevant to Astellas will also be considered.
Demonstrable examples of leadership, ability to develop, coach and enable high
performance teams and proactively promote best practice and knowledge sharing.
Experience with strong customer focus; in multidisciplinary, matrix and cross-
cultural setting.
Proven ability to influence, (appropriately) challenge and engage diverse
senior stakeholders.
Graduate or equivalent professional qualification and/or proven expertise.
