Managing and following up the sourcing / operation of the domestic, marine &
cross boarder fleet (Trucks).
Job functions of a Fleet Manager in Egypt :
* Manage fleet team, assign job orders, and ensure their commitment.
* Receive orders submitted by the CRM department.
* Setting the prices for the fleet cost upon market survey and assigned calculations.
* Ensure the adherence of fleet operations according to the assigned orders & plans.
* Following up & handling the major issues released (trucks shortage, delay, extra cost, needed cash payment …).
* Negotiate with vendors & drivers when needed.
* Ensure the updating of fleet databases (trucks, drivers, vendors) and their compliance with company rules.
* Ensure the updating of the Trukker fleet system with accurate data.
* Handle & ensure the implementation of (onboarding application system).
* Ensure the creation of drivers' profiles on system & assigning job orders.
* Handle any new projects related to the fleet by making visits on ground, gathering information / requirements, and evaluating if it will be applicable.
* Responsible for generating reports on a daily, weekly & monthly basis (total sea ports trucks / total domestic trucks, fleet database of drivers, trucks, vendors).
* Make weekly visits for branches, and on demand in case of big bulks.
* Ensure increase of (trucks, drivers, vendors) network.
* Support in any other assigned tasks according to business need.
Requirements for Fleet Manager jobs in Egypt
* Bachelor degree is a must
* +5 year in similar position in the field of (Logistics - Trucking )
* Advanced Computer Skills (MS Office)
* Well organized & can Perform multi tasks
* Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills
* Good Command of English
* Exceptional leadership and problem solving skills
* Have data bank of trucks owners/providers
