Program Coordinator*
Project Overview and Role:
USAID 's Trade Reform and Development in Egypt (TRADE) project builds on
decades of U.S. investments in Egyptian businesses and economic policy with
the aim of substantially increasing Egyptian exports from Small and Medium
Enterprises (SMEs). The TRADE project focuses on seven selected sectors:
engineering products, food processing, home textiles, ready-made garments,
chemicals, printing and packaging, and building materials. Through the
project, USAID works with the Government of Egypt to improve the trade and
investment policy environment and reduce barriers to trade. USAID also
partners with business associations and export councils to strengthen the
trade services ecosystem for small- and medium-sized exporters, as well as
with private companies to help them access new international markets to
increase export sales. TRADE tackles many trade and investment-related issues
to sustainably increase Egyptian exports and drive economic growth.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES**
Result ‎2's scope of work revolves around building the institutional capacity
of carefully selected Trade Support Institutions and developing their
portfolio of services to clients. The Result work also encompasses creating
new initiatives responding to trade services ecosystem gaps.
Reporting to Result ‎2 Team Lead, the Program Coordinator R2 (PC-R2) will
coordinate Result ‎2 resources, meetings, information, and various activities
within the project to efficiently extend technical assistance to partner trade
support institutions. S/he will help organize and streamline activities to
complete them within the assigned time, budget, and scope.
Within the broader scope of the project, the PC-R2 will facilitate the
assigned supporting activities with different project teams and partners to
ensure its success.
The PC-R2 will be essential in effective activities management to ensure that
activities align with the Result 's yearly plan.


TASKS*

* Support planning and coordination of Result ‎2 activities.
* Track daily progress of activities implementation.
* Handle the result-related operational and financial administration necessary to implement activities.
* Keep all members of the team up to date with relevant project information.
* Communicate with team members to ensure maximum efficiency.
* Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
* Prepare the paperwork necessary to host meetings and organize events with relevant project teams.
* Keep updated records and help create reports, terms of reference, or proposals.
* Create presentations, summaries, and help materials to ensure better communication and understanding of Result ‎2 work.
* Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (online meetings, video conferencing, presentations)
* Coordinate with the communication team regarding necessary media and social media posts for activities with project partners.
* Help build positive relations within the team and with other project teams.


Required Qualifications:
* BA in business administration or similar relevant field.
* Previous working experience as a Program Coordinator for (‎3-‎5) years.
* Providing similar support in previous jobs, preferably in development projects, is an asset.
* In-depth knowledge of program management and development procedures.
* Hands-on experience in budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Proactive problem solver.
* Excellent command of English and Arabic languages, both spoken and written.
* Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
* Advanced knowledge of using AI tools in business to improve efficiency is a plus.
