Providing the school IT administrators with day-to-day support and training to
ensure a smooth deployment of new projects, in addition to maintaining a high
level of IT infrastructure availability and security in schools and Centers
(Regional and SABIS® Offices).
Key Responsibilities:
* Making sure to apply all security and infrastructure standards (backup, firewall security, Windows update) in the school/Center network.
* Supporting in carrying out regular checks on the status of servers, storage, and tape libraries from a hardware and software standpoint.
* Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
* Developing innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
* Monitoring the platform's operations and alerting schools' teams to potential issues or concerns.
* Communicating change management related to IT infrastructure best practices to appropriate business teams and departments.
Ideal Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
* Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification (or equivalent) is required
* Cisco Certified Network Associate certification is an advantage
* A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the field
* English proficient
* Demonstrating Professional Behavior and Ethical Conduct
