HR Regional Specialist - Saudi Arabia

In this exciting role you will be responsible for several key initiatives such
as Saudization program coordination, liaison with the Ministry of Labor,
employee experience programs for the Middle East region, partnering with
managers about workforce related queries.
Candidates must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Employee/Government relations: coordination of Saudization programs and reporting and drive initiatives with the business leaders
* Maintain relations with the Ministry of Labor and the Labor office on behalf of the company.
* Ensure all government portals are up to date Saudization reporting.
* Develop in depth knowledge of the business both strategically and operationally such that he/she can provide business partner consulting to the managers in the Middle East region. Assists in organization design, team development, and building a culture which inspires and motivates employees.
* Translates business strategies and issues into appropriate HR and Organizational Excellence actions.
* Provides HR knowledge as needed in the areas of employee development, talent management, succession planning, engagement and retention strategies.
* May serve as program/project lead for people initiatives across the region
* Recognizes and effectively balances the client group's interests with the needs of the company.
* Coaches managers and leaders on their own challenges as well as helps them to be effective leaders and great coaches for their people.
* Assists managers in maintaining a culture that optimizes the passion and potential of their people.
* Keeps a pulse on the people. Monitors and identifies trends and issues.
* Ensures understanding and execution of company policies and Employee Handbook.
* Ensures managers have the right HR information to make business decisions. Ensures managers understand and use HR technology.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of HR Experience in the field of Employee/Government relations and/or HR Business Partnering in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region
* University Degree is preferred
* A broad base of human resources experience is a must, as well as, a strong track record and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
* Experience in highly successful, innovative cultures a plus
* High technology experience a plus.
* Experience being a Business Partner in a large IT Organization is highly desired
* Ability to develop strong relationships with line leaders as well as the ability to influence and push back as needed
* Ability to multitask with multiple objectives.
