About This Job:
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for the sales
performance of the Astellas Urology portfolio across Delta, Alexandria and
Canal territory. Based out of Mansoura, you will be reporting directly to the
Business Unit Head and managing a team of Medical Representatives.
As the Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to support the Astellas
transformation journey and shape up the future ways of working to achieve
financial targets.


Key Activities:
You will be responsible to build and execute strategies to meet sales goals
for the area; to drive area sales performance, market share and optimal
resource utilization.
You will build effective and enduring business relationships with key
customers and stakeholders.
This role will require you to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing
team of pharmaceutical Sales Representatives and promote Astellas as a leader
in general or specific pharmaceutical areas.
Develop in-depth understanding of the market environment and customers;
communicates customer insights to internal stakeholders and supports
development of new business strategies; identifies top business opportunities
or gaps through analysis of available reports.
Work within ethical and compliance policies and creates a culture that ensures
all reports, direct and indirect, do the same.


Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Substantial experience in a similar position with a global pharmaceutical
organization in Egypt
Ability to develop, coach and enable high performance teams
Should have a strong customer focus; in multi-disciplinary, matrix and cross-
cultural settings.
Experience in “primary care”
Excellent communication & presentation skills and ability to develop and
maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
Fluency in English & Arabic


Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Track-record of leading planning process with excellent organisational and
collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint in particular)


Educations/Qualifications:
Education to University level (preferably Pharmacy degree) or equivalent.
