Job Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Implementation
* Build and manage a high performing Procure to Pay SSC team by providing training and process expertise to the team
* Oversee processes related to invoice receipt, invoice booking, payments, suppliers queries, month-end Activities, coordinate with Procurement for any P2P master data on supplier master/item master
* Manage and guide team for P2P processes on day to day basis (including posting of entries)
* Develop a mechanism for effective compliance of FSSC management framework, including appropriate policies, processes and procedures for Procure to Pay SSC operations; oversee the enforcement in order to establish practice that ensures accountable and judicious management of SSC resources
* Identify and establish policies and procedures in conjunction with the internal and external customers.
* Can be a key point of contact for Finance BU team for any P2P escalation issue and BU process change
* Be a change agent and always look for process improvement

Monitor
* Responsible for timely closure of books at various intervals
* Develop and build rapport with the team for seamless processing of information and activities
* Lead in maintaining, amending and communication of P2P policies and procedures
* Recognize and communicate potential issues/risks and escalates to Tower Lead
* Work with P2P Tower lead to ensure the metrics targets as per SLA are met and implement actions to improve process performance in conjunction with the Continuous Improvement Leader
* Control and ensure high quality of internal and external client experience

Team
* Execute approved improvement initiatives implementation
* Manage any training program for the team in conjunction with P2P Tower Lead
* Help manage the communication and coordinate the activities between BU and FSSC

Personal Characteristics and Required Background:

Minimum experience
* Minimum of ‎12 years' post qualification finance experience in a similar role in shared services organization

Minimum Qualifications/education
* Previous experience of working in a shared service department in global organization.
* Qualified/part qualified accountant (CA / CPA / CFA) possessing a professional qualification.
* Strong accounting system background.
* Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience.
