We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Global Operations
team in Qatar, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve
divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
* Provide a high quality service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction by correctly interpreting and processing instructions.
* An acceptable /agreed volume of work is handled contributing to the achievement of the section's
* Ensure that tasks are prioritized, processed & completed in accordance with procedures.
* Common frauds/errors/irregular transactions are identified and appropriate action is taken in .
* Ensure that a general level of awareness about Money Laundering is maintained at all times
* Knowledge and experience are shared with colleagues, providing assistance on referred/technical issues.
* Scrutinize documents before performing maintenance on the same.
* Discrepant documents are returned to the concerned Dept. / Section and proper follow-up is done.
* Process all foreign & local currency cheques meant for collection, etc. and follow-up as appropriate.
* Perform end-of-day balancing procedures after posting of vouchers prepared by different sections in Payments
* Printing the DDs & COCs queued in the system.
* Liaise with KWT Treasury as appropriate to advise sale & purchase of FCY, value dates, exchange rates, etc.
* Handle GMG messages and resolve them to the satisfaction of the customers
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:*
* 0-2 years' experience in Payments , Operations , or in similar environment
* University degree/Diploma
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Computer skills
* General understanding of Financial Institutions
