As a QHSE Coordinator, you will assist and coordinate with Factory Manager,
Quality and HSE Manager, EMEA on Quality and HSE activities of Hempel
operations in Kuwait.
Here's some of the key roles you can look forward to:
* Ensure Operational sustainability activities are performed as per Group strategy plan.
* Plan, carry out and follow-up on Quality and HSE inspections, other QHSE improvement projects, best practices as directed by HSE Manager, EMEA.
* Monitoring HSE legislation requirements for its compliance in the country operations.
* Up-date the Factory Manager on new and upcoming National regulations that can influence on Hempel Quality & HSE Performance and management systems.
* Monitor, collect and analyze data on Quality & HSE activities and ensure all regulatory and Hempel internal reports for Quality & HSE related activities are updated and submit to the Factory Manager & HSE Manager, EMEA in time.
* Investigate HSE incidents and report to the Factory Manager and HSE Manager, EMEA.
* Organize and conduct HSE, Quality and sustainability trainings for employees.
* Coordinate with HSE Manager, EMEA for developing and implementing Quality & HSE policies and procedures with Hempel Kuwait operations.
* Conduct internal quality and HSE management systems audits to identify workplace hazards and risks and ensure compliance.
* Maintain professional relationship with employees and other stakeholders impacting HSE performance, policies and procedures.
* Organize safety organization meetings, Quality & HSE management review meetings as per the management systems requirements.
* Maintain professional relationship with employees and other stakeholders impacting HSE performance, policies and procedures.
You will directly report to the Factory Manager & functionally report to the
Regional QHSE Manager.
The role will be based in Kuwait.
We're looking for an experienced Sustainability, Quality & HSE individual
Our ideal candidate will come from an international industrial or chemical
environment, who has previously dealt with ensuring HSE awareness and who has
a proven capacity to adapt his / her communication style to different
audiences.
You should also have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in chemical, Environment or industrial safety Engineering.
* Minimum ‎3 to ‎5 years' experience in similar position or related field.
* Sound knowledge on Quality & HSE Management systems and relevant standards.
* Prior paint manufacturing experience is preferred
* Excellent in MS Office- Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ERP systems.
* Proficiency in both verbal and written (English) communication
