Your Responsibilities
Analyze and monitor market trends to stay ahead of emerging technologies and
provide recommendations to leadership
Developing Policies and Best Practices for our QHSE Management System
Develop, Monitor and Maintain a Business Risk and Opportunities Register that
includes all the above departments and functions
Mapping Process workflows and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
for each department
Developing Forms for Work Instructions and SOPs
Conducting Detailed Internal QHSE Audits for each department
Conducting Health and Safety Risk Assessments for our facilities and Customer
leased facilities in all the locations
Carrying out Environmental Aspect- Impact Analysis for all our Processes
Monitoring the HSE Program for any issues and proposing improvement measures
Developing and monitoring Objectives and KPIs in coordination with each
department Director
Conducting And recording Management Review meetings for the QHSE Management
System
Conducting QHSE Management System Training Programs as required
QHSE documentation Support for Contract Bidding in Kuwait
Liaison between ALP Kuwait and the Certification body LRQA for external
certification audits and surveillance audits
Ensure Corrective Action on both Internal and External Audits findings,
inspections and Incident reports
Requirements
Your Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science,
Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline is
typically required.
5+ years of experience in relevant field
Certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, CQA and ISO lead auditor certification
are a plus.
Your Proficiencies:
Lead Auditor Certification in at least two disciplines within the QHSE
program.
Experience of Warehousing and Transportation Safety is highly desirable.
Sound knowledge of HSE principles and management systems
Excellent Interpersonal skills in a multicultural business environment:
delivering training and workshops, team working, communication
Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages (Arabic or French) is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
