Duties and Responsibilities
* The Training Manager will directly report to the Project Manager/Director and shall perform duties after careful coordination with HR and Training Section.
* Review and evaluate the current system for training and technology transfer and propose required recommendation in terms of required enhancement or system replacement.
* Formulate training / technology transfer strategy and implementation program.
* Compile a comprehensive training program and produce training schedule to accommodate requirements.
* Develop a KPI based employee's performance appraisal based on the departments initiatives.
* Keep training goals and objectives up to date and in line with requirements.
* Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements:
* Degree in related field with 20 years diverse experience in training in an engineering/ consulting environment on a large infrastructure and transportation projects.
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills that enable to work at all levels.
* Must have experience in designing and executing successful training programs.
* Must have the ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
* Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
* Candidates must be proficient in English both written and oral. Arabic language communication skills would be a plus.
