This role will manage the overall logistics of multiple cities across the
country. Leading on-demand delivery operations and maintaining excellent
customer experience 24/7. The City Manager will take ownership of staffing,
service levels, and communication with stakeholders, monitoring, measuring,
and improving compliance and performance of riders/partners.
What's On Your Plate?
* Oversees all daily logistics related operations
* Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
* Leads communication with external suppliers
* Supervise, coach multiple rider managers and rider trainers
* Oversees and ensures restaurant onboarding and training
* Set up SOPs, policies and tools for safety / compliance of riders and partners
* Help with coordination of marketing campaigns and activities across all brand entities
* Coordinate with country logistics head on operational zone setup and special projects
* Responsible for country's rider experience and satisfaction score
* Provide weekly updates to country management on projects & performance progress.
What Did We Order?
* Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus
* 5-8 years of experience in food/grocery tech industry is highly preferred
* Extensive experience in Data Analytics
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Arabic fluency is a must; Urdu/hindi is a plus.
* People management skills: Experience of managing bigger group of people
* Stakeholder management skills: Experience in dealing with cross-cultural team members and cross-functional teams
* Ability to analyze data and derive insights from comprehensive data reports
* Ability to deal with ambiguity, work under pressure, handle stress.
