Logistics Analyst

Position Description:
Serco is seeking a dynamic Logistics Analyst to join our team! If found with
the optimal qualifications, you will become part of our Kuwait based logistics
team supporting multiple government customers in Supply Chain Management,
Inventory Control and Total Asset Visibility, including shipping and
receiving, configuration management, distribution management, property
accountability, and equipment disposition.

Serco provides logistics sustainment and contingency support to IFRCO both
OCONUS (Iraq, Kuwait & Syria) and CONUS (Redstone Arsenal, Yuma Proving
Ground, Fort Sill, OK & Fort Campbell, KY) by conducting logistics database
administration, lifecycle management of supplies and reset services.

You will be part of a diverse team of highly talented personnel who work
closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality logistics
support to IFRCO OCONUS (Kuwait Warehouse).

This position is multi-functional and includes components in logistics
database entry (through the IFRCO COLTS and DPAS databases) and routine
logistics management as well as physical warehousing, inventory, shipping and
receiving, as well as turn-in procedures. In addition, coordination through
external transportation agencies for follow on movement to CONUS. Qualified
individual will possess relevant experience in the inventory and supply
management of equipment and systems throughout the supply chain. This position
also requires extensive knowledge in the processes and procedures for turning
in equipment and materiel through the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution
Services as well as experience in Retrograde operations. Further, this
individual will possess critical research analysis skills to configure/de-
configure shipments and identify inconsistencies and request disposition
through the customer or Program.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* An active Secret clearance
* Two (‎2) to Four (‎4) years of relevant experience
* Experienced in Supply and Warehouse management within Government or Military operations
* Experience with retrograde, transportation, property accountability, and environmental stewardship
* Experience in preparing assets for DLA-DS (DRMO) and Turn-In
* Experience utilizing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and/or Government logistics databases
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Knowledge of various logistics forms (DD or DA) and their functions
* Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Ability to lift 35lbs unassisted
Additional desired experience and skills:
*
Experience using Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) HIGHLY
desirable!
* Experience using Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) HIGHLY desirable!
* Forklift experienc in RCO, commercial or military
* Experience support in UID CounterRFIDket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) products and systems or Integrated DLAeDS/ DRMOd Capabilities Office (IF/RCO) products and systems
* Experience with I-UID and/or RFID systems also highly desirable
* Experience in CONUS / OCONUS sets for DLA-DS (DRMO) and Turn-In
* Knowledge of COSIS and documentation of actions
* Familiarity with preparing large pallets/crates for shipment both CONUS and OCONUS
* Knowledge of HAZMAT functions and requirements helpful
