Job Description:
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for managing the
housekeeping department and ensuring that all areas of the facility are
maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness. They will
oversee the daily operations of the department and manage a team of
housekeeping staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and
effectively.

Manage and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department,
including the scheduling of staff, assigning of tasks, and monitoring of
performance.
* Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and customer service.
* Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
* Inspect rooms, public areas, and back of the house areas to ensure that cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
* Work with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure that all guest requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
* Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services.
* Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with the purchasing department to order supplies as needed.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
* Manage administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, preparing reports, and managing budgets.
* Provide regular feedback to the Housekeeping Manager on departmental performance, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Desired Skill & Expertise:
* Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field required.
* At least ‎5 years of experience in housekeeping or related field, with a minimum of ‎2 years in a supervisory or management role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
