Real Estate Manager Int.

The Five Guys Real Estate Manager - International, supports the execution of
the International Real Estate Development Strategy for all of our growth
outside of the U.S.A. and Canada.
This individual will greatly impact the financial health of the company by the
efficient and successful opening of company and franchise owned restaurant
locations each calendar year. The Real Estate Manager - International will
implement and maintain Five Guys specifications and standards, and further
ensure the financial profitability of the company by building and
strengthening the real estate pipeline for subsequent years.
This individual will manage the corporately owned store lease database, as
well tenant obligations, programmed and reactive maintenance and related
financials. The Real Estate Manager - International will also support
franchisees by providing expert market knowledge and assistance identifying
and gaining approval for franchise locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Liaise and coordinate with internal departments such as construction, facilities, legal, finance and operations to ensure proper communication necessary to efficiently and effectively deliver the Real Estate/Development Strategy.
* Develop and manage the company owned restaurant lease database and Tenant and Landlord
* Develop and manage a system for programmed and reactive maintenance and the related finances for the company owned restaurant network.
* Work with and/or find local brokers to gain market knowledge and support corporate decision making in company owned markets.
* Work with and/or find local brokers to gain market knowledge and support franchisees to secure viable restaurant locations in franchise territories.
* Assist with the preparation and presentation of materials for the approval of proposed deals to the Real Estate Committee.
* Support the development of annual budgets and schedule and manage expenditures to approved budgets.

Education/Experience:
* ‎4 year college Degree. Equivalent business and real estate experience may be considered. Three+ years of related experience in retail real estate management - Food, restaurant, and beverage experience a plus!
* General knowledge of construction
Language Ability:
Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary. The successful
candidate/employee will be required to use written, verbal and group
communication skills. The ability to read, write and comprehend complex
instructions and correspondences is necessary. It also requires the ability to
read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents.
Fluency in English is required and spoken and written ability in other
languages is a plus
Math Ability:
This position requires excellent business math skills.
Reasoning Ability:
The position requires pragmatic analyzing skills and problem-solving
abilities.
Computer Skills:
Exceptional computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and
other appropriate software, such as Map Point.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position requires no supervisory responsibilities
Travel will be required ‎50-‎80% of time to include international travel by air,
rail and automobile.
