Job Purpose: Job Purpose To contribute towards the development of online
products, systems and ancillary services to support Emirates' Online Sales
Development objectives in line with the overall commercial strategy, across
all online channels including mobile sites and apps. This includes assessing
and understanding areas such as product research, system development, customer
usability, regulatory changes, business impact assessment, business case
development and user requirements for these products and services. Co-ordinate
activity between representatives within Online Sales team to ensure all
products, services and ancillaries are utilised to their full potential in
order to meet applicable online targets set for the department. Job Outline -
Oversee day-to-day needs of operations for assigned ancillary products. Serve
as the primary internal point-of-contact for questions regarding these
products. - Develop and maintain the monthly, quarterly, and yearly
performance reports for the various ancillary products and support the team
with varied requirements around analytics. - Ensure all ancillary product
information is consistent, up to date, across all customer touchpoints. -
Conduct regular analysis of competitive offerings within the ancillary field
across the wider travel industry. - Build and implement pricing optimization
models for ancillary products. Optimize pricing tactics and strategies using
best practices in ancillary merchandising that further enhance our competitive
advantage. - Collaborate with stakeholders to become the subject matter expert
ensuring our new products and product revision requirements meet the
objectives of the organization - Analyse customer feedback around sale of
ancillary products to continuously review product policies and processes with
the objective to enhance customer experience and reduce complaints.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications Minimum of a degree, preferably in
Business, Marketing, Strategy, General Management, or Travel/Hospitality
Management. Experience Online/commercial sales within airline/travel industry:
5+ years Knowledge/skills - Knowledge of business and commercial processes
relating to ancillary products and pricing. - Working knowledge of reservation
systems is highly desirable.
