Job Overview
At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the
obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set
up an event within the GCC.
___The HR Officer will support the HR function by actively accompany staff &
workers through the employee lifecycle in a way that promotes the company
culture._
Main Accountabilities (list is non exhaustive) :
Talent acquisition/on-boarding:
* Assist with the recruitment process by submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling job interviews for junior positions
* Assist HR Manager with the on-boarding experience processes
Learning & development: Support in executing the L&D strategy by:
* Provide a reliable point of contact for all learning and development matters
* Assist in preparing learning materials
* Produce and maintain accurate records of learning and development activity
* Perform studies on L&D best practices
Performance management:
* Provide administrative support in reviews cycles and performance management
HR administration:
* Support with all internal and external admin HR related inquiries or requests
* Assist HR Manager in creating policies, processes, and documents
* Maintain and update employee database,
* Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves
* Assist in payroll administration/processing
* Assist in visa processes
Employee engagement:
* Assist in execution of strong employer brand strategy
* Perform studies on best retention and employee engagement practices
* Support workers' engagement strategy
CSR & welfare:
* Act as a permanent member of the CSR committee
* Execute the CSR agenda in collaboration with other CSR committee members
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international NGOs
* Propose actions and practices to enhance company CSR
Ad-hoc HR activities:
* Support HR manager in implementation of HR projects
* Manage special projects assigned
* Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
* Review, interpret and recommend policy, process, or improvement programs on all HR areas (recruitment & selection, induction and orientation, performance management, training, HR admin etc.…)
* HR analytics support
Knowledge & Experience:
* 1 to 2 years in an HR function
* Education in HR field, business administration, marketing would be a plus
* Good command of excel
* MS office pack
* English
Technical & Functional Skills:
* Knowledge of full spectrum of HR functions: workforce planning, recruitment, training, learning & development, compensation & benefits etc…
Other skills and competencies:
* Good business acumen
* Excellent communication
* Good with details and strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent organizational & multitasking abilities
* Creativity skills
