Reporting to: Operations Manager
Territory: UAE - GCC
Job Overview
Under the guidance of the Operations Managers, the Supervisor - will oversee
the entire production, build up and Dismantling of all interior Fit outs,
Events and Exhibitions.
Main Accountabilities (list non exhaustive):
* To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of workers, management of production and quality and to ensure the smooth running of the production.
* Planning of Manpower for production, buildup and dismantling
* To assign the work for a team leader and team In charge and Coordinate with team leader of steel and paint of their SOW
* Ensure that carpentry steel and paint, follow the schedule of fabrication, build up and coordinates logistic requirements
* To ensure that team is following standard method of production
* Ensure that production has proper machines, equipment, bits, blades etc .to perform the task
* To ensure that team is fabricating in a standard procedure
* To achieve quality and to be monitored at every level of production
* Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issue.
* To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered during the shift in line with the companies Health and Safety policy.
* Problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems
* To ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the team
* To have an active role in the continuous improvement of the fabrication techniques
* Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
K nowledge & experience:
* 8 years and above Experience as a Sr. team leader or Supervisor
* Education +2 or above
* Basic computer knowledge, Word, Excel
* Auto CAD knowledge
* Sketch up knowledge
* English and Hindi
Technical & functional skills:
* Able to understand technical drawings and follow the set standard production methods used in fit out or events and exhibition industry.
* Must have technical knowledge and knowledge of tools and machinery used in carpentry
* Ensuring that the workspace is kept clean and all team tools and team machinery are in condition.
* Researching and training the team leaders and Team in charges in new production methods and ensuring that its followed.
* Manage, develop, and direct workers
Other skills and competencies:
* Interacting with the workers and motivating them to complete their tasks.
* Must be flexible, proactive and have a positive attitude.
* Must approach a problem with a coolly and find efficient solutions
* Must be flexible and ready to accept change as per the company requirements
* Effective time management
