building KONE Safety & Quality culture and proactively promote safety &
quality practices, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Safety &
Quality Manager to manage countrywide processes and operations based in our
Dubai office.
Reporting into the Managing Director for UAE & Oman, the successful candidate
will proactively work to ensure continuous improvement of safety & quality
performance and awareness. We are looking for somebody with a proven track
record of being a go-getter and who can collaborate with different functions
to ensure the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and guidelines
affecting safety & quality.
What will you do?
* Provide expertise and support regarding safety & quality matters
* Adapt, implement and maintain safety & quality strategy in line with KONE global policies and local regulations
* Plan, document, follow up and monitor the implementation of safety & quality processes and procedures
* Monitor the safety & quality auditing process and regular site visits
* Analyze feedback from Customer and Field and proactively gather other relevant data to identify continuous improvement opportunities
* Maintain accident & near miss incident investigation process, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action
* Facilitate and evaluate the implementation, and contribute to the development of KONE Quality Management System, monitor its performance and combine its management with other management systems, such as environment and safety
* Communicate safety & quality related information throughout the organization, including investigation outcomes and best practices
Are you the one?
* Bachelor degree in engineering is preferred or strong relevant technical background
* 10+ years of experience in safety & quality in a multinational environment with 3-5 years in a leadership position
* Experience in the same or relevant industries such as construction, contracting...etc.
* Experience with site/field operations is a must. Candidates working in site operations roles and willing to shift their career to safety can be considered.
* Strong knowledge of Quality tools, methods, systems
* Excellent English language skills
* Ability to influence, lead and coach teams
