Job Description:

Summary:

The role involves overseeing delivery and general movement of goods and
services within our properties. This will include preparing delivery
schedules, following up with suppliers, managing the arrival and installation
of safe storage of goods purchased, monitoring deliveries are correct,
checking for breakages and communicating with suppliers to clarify, and
updating reports. The Logistics Coordinator is in charge of timely delivery of
goods and services required, identifying potential issues beforehand and
reporting back to management.

Responsibilities:
* Communicate with relevant parties to ensure clarity of requirements (such as site conditions, packaging, offloading issues, installation instructions, removal of rubbish etc)
* Coordinate, plan and oversee the arrival of goods and services to assure smooth delivery process.
* Evaluate readiness of the site to receive deliveries / services, arrange storage facilities, negotiate delivery terms with vendors.
* Check the accuracy of goods / services ordered / delivered and sign off on behalf of the company. Hand over goods to end user if applicable.
* Research and evaluate potential vendors, build, maintain good working relationships.
* Assist with Procurement process - Compile documents, run bidding process, evaluate proposals, report on results, assuring compliance and accuracy (during less busy times).
* Communicate with Procurement team on site conditions assuring all orders are issued according to specific of the project at hand.
* Assist the design team with set up of Mock Up Rooms.
* Review and report on quality of purchased products, monitor stock levels where applicable. Identify risk areas and report to management.
* Attend meetings / trade shows, build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, find new vendors, quality goods and services.
* Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
* Prepare ad-hoc tasks on projects as needed
