We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join
our dynamic team in Dubai. The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in
supporting the finance department with various tasks, including bookkeeping,
data entry, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong
foundation in finance, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for
accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into accounting software, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
* Data Entry: Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents promptly and accurately. Verify and cross-check information to maintain data integrity.
* Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports and statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data. Identify trends, variances, and discrepancies for further investigation.
* Expense Management: Monitor and reconcile expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and guidelines. Communicate with staff to clarify and resolve any discrepancies.
* Vendor Relations: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address financial inquiries, resolve payment issues, and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
* Support Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to auditors.
* Compliance: Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the industry. Ensure adherence to statutory obligations and reporting deadlines.
* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, correspondence, and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Proven experience (1-2 years) in a finance or accounting role.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
