The Role
We are currently recruiting for a diligent Finance Assistant to take on a role
within the Scantech Offshore Group Finance team to support the team in all of
its operational activities. The role of the Finance Assistant is to support
with the input of operational transactions in to the financial systems;
maintaining the accounting records; performing appropriate reconciliations;
support the production of monthly management reports and related
administrative processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the purchase ledger team in ensuring accurate processing of supplier invoices.
* Assist the sales ledger team in generating customer invoices.
* Performing a variety of accounting reconciliations including group intercompany accounts for purchase and sales ledger
* Performing Credit control activities and providing information to support cash flow forecasting and management.
* Taking handover of processes on credit control and and invoicing in-house from external party.
* Assist in bank reconciliations for Middle East and Asia Pacific regions in a timely manner.
* Complete ad-hoc tasks as and when required by AP and SL team leads.
* Assist in raising POs and completing GRNs for as advised by Operations and Hire Controllers.
* Assist and support operations teams in Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Qualifications and experience:
* AAT qualified or qualified by experience in a similar role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Good teamwork skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative where required.
* Good organizational and communication skills.
