Objetive of the role
Engage in the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System in
the MENA Region.
Ensure compliance of the current Quality Management System to Bausch Standards
and to the applicable laws and regulations.
Work closely with different internal stakeholders in the MENA region to
increase awareness and knowledge of the quality culture in BHTDWC.
Maintain and update the necessary licensing requirements for BHTDWC Scientific
Office and 3PL distribution center.
Key Activities/Responsibilities
Pharmacist In-charge for the BHTDWC GSDP Certificate and deputy pharmacist for
the Scientific Office.
Handle, communicate and implement the Quality Assurance Agreement with the
distributors/customers and 3PL as applicable.
Work closely with all business units for the Qualification of Distributor
program for all existing and new distributors/customers.
Work closely with Quality Head to implement any required projects per the
annual Quality Business Plan.
Investigate the reported cases of suspected counterfeit/unauthorized
distribution in conjunction with different departments.
Responsible for document control, implementation, and maintenance of all
Quality Management System documents.
Manage the training and access for electronic document management system for
all required employees for the UAE-Dubai site.
Prepare and report monthly global QPIs in addition to any other required
metrics to be reported.
Manage the training program utilizing the electronic training software and
support with any access related issue for BHTDWC personnel.
Manage face-to-face trainings including related Quality Induction for newly
onboarded employees.
Maintain the MENA Distributor Master Data Spreadsheet – Licenses and
Certificates including removal of terminated distributors and/or addition of
new distributors.
Assist and review other departments Standard Operating Procedures and ensure
compliance with the current Quality Management System.
Engage in Internal and External Quality Audits as per the plan.
Handle/support with Deviations, CAPA and Change Control Management programs.
Handle shipment release when required (temperature excursions, aggregation,
etc.)
Manage/support Repackaging/ Relabelling activities as required.
Manage Product Complaint program.
Support the Quality Risk Management program.
Other responsibilities (including supporting ZA QA as needed) or tasks as
requested by the Quality Head.
Required education, abilities and skills
Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent. Ministry of Health (MOH)
Pharmacist License or MOH Pharmacist Evaluation Certificate
Knowledge: MOH, GSP/GDP regulations in the operating countries.
Languages: English, Arabic. French is advantageous but not mandatory.
