Job Purpose: Provide operational and administrative support to the Ops Control
and Airport Services management team in Network Control Center (NCC), through
continuous monitoring of the Emirates network operation in order to maintain
normal operations and to recover disrupted operations, through maintaining
effective communications across all operational channels, and through regular
review and updates of operational databases, documentation and procedures. Job
Outline: - To monitor day-of-ops activities across the network and liaise with
VP Network Control (VPNC) /Manager Operations Control (MOC) /Manager Airport
Services (MAS-NCC) in order to support with developing and implementing
recovery action when required. Ensure practices and services are aligned and
delivered as per company standards. - Provide the necessary support to Ops
Control and Airport Services management team in NCC to maintain effective
communications with operating crew and stakeholders in Dubai and Outstations
at all times, providing a high level of customer service. During irregular
operations and disruption recovery, ensure that situation reports, updates,
plans and changes are communicated to and clearly understood by relevant
stakeholders, and that they are actioned accordingly. - Ensure Operations
Control and Airport Services System databases are maintained with up-to-date
information, relevant message traffic is processed in a timely manner, system
alerts are entered accurately, and delay information is captured and recorded
accurately. - Support with effective mailbox management and prepare daily
logs, reports and statistical analysis, ensuring all are completed accurately
and in a timely manner, and communicated to relevant management and key
stakeholders. - Maintain familiarity with and a good working knowledge of
company and regulatory documentation, policies and procedures. Ensure updates
and amendments to the Network Operations Policy and Procedures Manual are
incorporated accurately and in a timely manner. - Contribute to and assist
with the overall operational improvements and cost optimisation by identifying
process weaknesses and operational flaws. Where anomalies are observed, ensure
appropriate response to avoid future reoccurrences. Participate in project
work, improving both process and quality of operational delivery across the
network. - Maintain familiarity with the Corporate Emergency Response Plan,
procedures and associated checklists. Participate in regular training and
exercises, and support VPNC/MOC/MAS-NCC as directed during emergency and
disruption response. - Provide support and temporary cover for periods such
as: activation of the corporate emergency response plan, EK operational
disruption recovery plan activation, in the absence of MOC/ MAS-NCC, or when
delegated.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent GPA: 3.0+ ILETS: 6
and above or EMSAT English 1400 or TOEFL 550 UAE Nationality (Passport &
Khulasat Al Qaid) Age between 21 - 26 Knowledge/skills: - Understanding and
interpretation of Flight Crews duty time limitations preferred. - Ability to
understand and interpret aircraft minimum equipment lists (MEL), and Flight
Operations Manuals. - The ability to work under pressure without guidance and
supervision, and the ability to correctly prioritise workload is essential. -
Previous airport services experience is an advantage.
