The position
We are looking for an ambitious HR/PRO Coordinator in Dubai who will be
reporting to our Assistant Country Manager.
As our new HR/PRO Coordinator you will play a central role in managing and
coordinating the employee lifecycle, from attraction initiatives, recruitment
and onboarding to engagement initiatives, training and offboarding. Also PRO
activities will be an integrated part of your daily work.
As HR/PRO Coordinator, your main roles and responsibilities will be as
following:
* Recruitment : Selection and Onboarding: Leading the full hiring process in alignment with VIKINGs global standards. This includes supporting managers in defining qualifications and abilities needed for open positions, interviews, assessment, final selection and onboarding of new employee.
* HR Administration and reporting: Overseeing HR administrative tasks such as updating and maintaining employee records, employment contracts, handle disciplinary proceedings, employee inquiries and basic HR- related support. Ensure timely registration in MyHR (SuccessFactors) and monthly reporting to Global HR on HR KPI 's.
* Employee Relations & Engagement: Implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Promoting positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a healthy work environment.
* Training and Development : Support in identifying training needs, coordinate training programs, and employee development initiatives.
* Compensation and Benefits: Manage/facilitate compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and coordinate salary reviews.
* HR Policies and Procedures: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
* PRO Activities: Coordinate and Liaise with relevant governmental organizations and entities for all required company registrations and approvals
* Global People Processes (Engagement Survey & Appraisal): Execute local communication and follow up. Coordinate and execute org. hierarchy review and provide support to managers during proces.
* Strategic HR initiatives: Ad hoc people project support for roll-out related to VIKING 's People agenda (e.g., succession planning, leadership development etc.).
Your profile
You have a bachelor 's degree in business administration, human resources, or
a closely related field.
You come with min 2-3 years of documented experience from similar position and
have gained thorough understanding and knowledge of labor laws and regulation.
As a person you have attention to details and strong problem-solving and
analytical abilities.
Also it is a must that have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
English is our corporate language - fluency in both spoken and written English
is a must.
