Role summary
The 'Head of Brand and Communication' leads the TGT Diagnostics' Brand and
Communication function and is responsible for TGT's Brand and Communication
strategy and implementation. Supports the Chief Marketing Officer in
overseeing, developing, and driving all brand and communication related
initiatives, both internal and external, to build brand equity and drive
sales. A respected marketing, brand and communications expert.
Essential responsibilities
* Develop and implement brand and communication strategies and content to 1] Drive sales [ 'Sales activation'] and 2] Build brand equity ['Brand building'].
* Support the sales team and the sales effort by attracting customers into the 'sales funnel' and helping via effective techniques and tactics to accelerate customers through the funnel from 'awareness' to 'consideration' to 'preference' to the point of 'purchase' and 'repeat purchase'.
* Implement and manage content and communications using HubSpot to effectively nurture, track, generate and share 'marketing qualified leads' to the sales team.
* Positioning TGT as the leading authority and recognised brand leader in its category of 'through-barrier diagnostics'
* Curate, manage and drive all brand communications, both internal and external, using new and proven techniques and channels, especially digital.
* Be an ambassador, champion, and oracle for the TGT brand, ensuring visual and verbal consistency at all touchpoints.
* Own and actively manage the web platform and media channels.
* Ensure the website tgtdiagnostics.com is functioning and performing efficiently and effectively to engage customers and achieve better than industry benchmarks for relevant KPI's.
* Support brand development projects and manage the communications aspects of new product and brand launches.
* Develop high-level copywriting and content creation for media posts, internal and external newsletters, press releases, and announcements.
* Source and distribute external news to the media, including preparation of press releases and briefing media.
* Edit or proof industry articles and similar content.
* Cultivate relationships with industry media to gain exposure through multiple channels for our brand.
* Manage and coordinate events, including external online #TechTalks, internal forums and customer events.
* Source and disseminate internal news through established channels such as the internal newsletter.
* Manage agencies and agency projects.
* Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues, agencies, and media networks.
* Develop, coach, and lead an effective brand and communication team, and work in close collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer.
* Manage the brand and communications budget and resources.
Qualification requirements
* BSc/BA or Masters in Marketing, Brands, Media, Communications, Design or equivalent, ideally accredited by an appropriate industry body.
* Alternative degree [e.g. Technical or other] may be considered provided experience and expertise in brand and communication is evident.
* Career professional development achievements in relevant disciplines are desirable.
* Professional body qualifications or membership are desirable
* More than 10 to 15-years' marketing and brand leadership experience in a fast-paced brand and communication role with a leading B2B brand and has the ambition to excel further within the marketing or communications profession. Agency experience will be considered.
* Complete hands-on knowledge and track record of using effective digital communication strategies, media platforms, and channels.
* Working knowledge of HubSpot CMS, HubSpot Marketing Hub and Salesforce and associated implementation strategies is a must.
* Working knowledge of setting up and using a marketing stack.
* Expert in all aspects of website implementation and management, including SEO,
* Experience in using multi-channel approach to achieve high levels of unaided and aided brand awareness, brand consideration and brand preference.
* Experience in creating and leading effective campaigns to propel challenger brands to brand leader status.
* Approaches work with a strong sense of professional pride, precision, proactiveness, creativity, energy, productivity, and enjoyment, and works quickly to deliver outstanding results.
* Extremely well organised and proficient in managing multiple tasks in parallel.
