Your Purpose:
Defining, executing and monitoring of the MBGD marketing and communications
strategy in line with the overall MBC MarCom strategy as well as business
needs and business targets of MBGD Spokes.

Governance of MBGD Marketing budget (allocation, monitoring, etc)

Collaboration and activation of OS Experience Center services
*
Steering of the GD Marketing Excellence Center in cooperation with local
agency (Team X)
*
Coordination of MBGD ´s marketing activities (Sales, CS, Vans & COM)
*
Brand- and performance campaign activation (only GCC GD´s) in paid, owned &
earned media channels
*
Motivating and developing the MBC marketing & communications team, coaching,
providing guidance, evaluating the team performance in order to establish a
high performance culture within the assigned team.

Your Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications Management
Topic and budget alignment with HQ and MBGD Business Units (Spokes) to define
priorities for the upcoming business year
*
Translation of global marketing and communication priorities into regional
marketing plan, including all relevant communication channels and disciplines
*
Cross-departmental collaboration with Sales, Product & Pricing, CS & CJ team
to leverage synergies and ensure effective and efficient investment of
resources
*
Brand and performance activation (GCC GD´s) in all relevant media channels
*
Participation in OS Marketing board meetings (member)
*
Event- and Sponsorship management
*
Bi-lateral focus on brand building initiatives and tactical measures to
generate leads and support sales.
*
General Distributor steering
Marketing and COM strategy communication
*
Budget and topic planning briefing of General Distributors for upcoming
business year
*
Review of GD marketing plans, calendars and budget allocation
*
Regular information exchange calls
*
GD Marketing Excellence Center (Team X)
Definition of GDMEC scope incl. Budget planning and self-funding strategy.
*
Management of agency performance against targets and contractual obligations.
*
Constant review of GDMEC work streams and FTE utilization
*
Process optimization between MBGD, agency & GD´s
*
Optimization and enhancement of GD Marketing portal
*
Marketing Budget
Allocation of annual and strict adherence to MBGD Marketing budget

Constant budget review and alignment with FC
*
Ideation and execution of Marketing cost efficiency measures

Press COM (PR)
Development and execution of annual COM strategy

Constant alignment with HQ COM team

Management of International press events

GD consultation on COM strategy

Constant alignment (Content & Media) with OSEC

Your Profile:
Educational Background
University degree with focus on business or marketing.
Technical Knowledge
- Experience
Strong management experience in MB Marketing and COM (PR), preferable Retail,
GD or MPC.
International working experience and leading of a multi-cultural team.
- Special knowledge
Strong expertise in MB brand & performance Marketing and COM (PR),
International working experience within multi-national organizations. Profound
knowledge of GD Marketing, Data analytics & digital tools
Soft skills/individual competence
Organizational skills, agility, fast self-learning, team player,
persuasiveness, dedication, passion, respect, integrity, discipline &
communication.
Language:
Fluent in spoken and written: English; Arabic not a must but helpful; German a
