Job Description

Demi Chef De Partie - Main Kitchen
Ready for a sizzling career move? You will play a pivotal role in our kitchen
working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook and serve makes
our guests smile and wanting more.
What you will be doing:
* Manage area of responsibility, ensuring smooth service delivery as well as assisting with other sections as required.
* Actively train and promote compliance with food safety standards, dietary requirements, hygiene, cleanliness and other compliance requirements of the kitchens area.
* Support in creation of menu recipes, pictures and training materials to ensure consistency and efficiency to meet the set standards.
* The ability to maintain a positive attitude and a professional disposition.
* The ability to maintain a full line of communication with supervisors and fellow workers and all hotel associates.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in preparation of various international cuisines.


• Fantastic passion for presentation and a meticulous eye for detail.


• Minimum of ‎2-‎3 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a ‎5 star hotel.


• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.


• Well versed in all aspects of Food Hygiene, HACCP and OH&S to ensure safe working practices are followed within the kitchen.


• Strong communication, organisational skills and grooming standards.
