About the role

The Manager, Employee Relations is responsible for assisting the Director,
Employee Relations to create and implement strategic Employee Relations
programs to build commitment and passion amongst all colleagues, ensuring that
they will always be fairly treated, and that Human Resources is responsible
for the wellbeing of its employees. You will assist the Director, Employee
Relations, to proactively put initiatives in place that will reduce employee
turnover, increase employee engagement, and contribute towards Atlantis Dubai
becoming an employer of choice. You will also manage the day-to-day operations
and oversee the administration of the Employee Relations function and
contribute to key HR projects, including analysis of data to find trends and
assist the company to be proactive instead of reactive.

You will also be required to manage the scheduling of disciplinary enquiries
and be required to deal with conflict situations in the workplace, exit
interviews and grievances, as well as be the first point of contact for
answering general colleague/department queries and be a point of contact for
the leadership teams throughout Atlantis Dubai.

Assisting the Director, Employee Relations in managing the Employee Relations
team will also be an important part of this role, ensuring that the team has
someone to lean on and be there as a point of escalation, as well as someone
with infectious motivation.

About you

The successful Manager, Employee Relations will have a minimum of ‎2-‎3 years'
experience in a Manager, Human Resources role, preferably specialising in
Employee Relations within a ‎5* hotel/resort. You will also have a bachelor's
degree in human resources or equivalent from an accredited and renowned
university and be fully CIPD qualified. You will have experience handling
Employee Relations cases, from grievances through to disciplinaries.

You will also be proficient with MS Office, and having experience with HRMS
such as SAP & RAMCO is extremely advantageous.
