Job Description

Danfoss Climate Solutions is the leading supplier to the HVAC & Refrigeration
industries. One of the largest segments of Danfoss worldwide, we have a broad
product portfolio, serving customers within heating and cooling applications.
We are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager in Turkey, Middle
East and Africa Region for Air-Conditioning and Commercial Refrigeration
Controls, one of Danfoss's largest business units with a world-leading
portfolio.
This position requires a frequent ability to travel.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the
following.
* Being closely aligned with the business unit, support Year over Year profitable growth via business development in Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa Region within target market segments (OEM, Aftermarket, Contractor channels) in collaboration with the local sales organizations,
* Securing alignment with the regional sales teams, including portfolio development plans and regional sales needs,
* Supporting sales by reviewing leads, researching, and determining which ones are most likely to convert and be closed by sales,
* Driving regional focus within sales teams across market segments by active follow-up and dialogue on defined activities supporting strategic direction; opportunity pipeline, market trends, new product launches, etc.
* Providing regional insights to ensure that: product needs, solutions to address main obstacles to growth and customer/competitor regional insights, are incorporated in business plans,
* Aligning, validating, and supporting key regional sales development processes: demand planning (monthly), rolling forecast (quarterly), perspective planning (annual),
* Ensuring any barriers to growth are being escalated to respective functional leaders within matrix organizations (Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering),
* Providing market price strategy in coordination with stakeholders in the region and within the business unit to keep alignment with growth and profitability goals,

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration or a related field,
* At least ‎5 years of previous experience as a sales representative, sales manager, or similar,
* Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets with a sales driving mindset,
* Strong customer and competitor insight as well as excellent stakeholder management,
* Background in the HVAC/R manufacturing market with a global mindset,
* Fluency in English.
