Retail Merchandiser

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the Dubai Mall
Trade zone by implementing all day-to-day trading of the department by
reviewing sales and stock and ensuring all in-season activity is focused upon
delivering planned sales, margin and terminal stock objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute weekly trade decks on The Dubai Mall trade zone. Ensuring all opportunities are highlighted for action


• Update hype calendar weekly ensuring all stakeholders are aware of upcoming drops, report on these drops daily to track performance.


• Action relevant and in-depth analysis to support buying commitment decisions for the trade zone


• Provide fact-based product input and feedback for internal/external stakeholders.


• Support T&A team on stock allocation and amalgamation to ensure an effective stock management within the season, monitor and ensure smooth stock movement within the stores and DC.


• Analyze in season stock cover management and in season reactivity and provide recommendations based on analysis. Within the Dubai Mall Trade Zone.


• Support Omni to ensure all campaigns/brand moments and key concepts are executed on time


• Bubble plans to be created per store within the trade zone in alignment with OMNI. This will contribute to a strong, thought-out consumer journey in our key doors.


• Manage passive stock and exit lists to across the trade zone, enabling data driven decisions on fact-based information.


• Capacity checks and NPS feedback requests to be focused on weekly and to be streamlined to B&M and T&A team.


• Back of house efficiency to be targeted through passive stock reports, black holes and exist lists.


• Support buying team on seasonal order placements.

Knowledge, skills and ability:

• Excellent command of English.


• Excellent attention to detail and analysis skills.


• Strong work ethic willing to put long hours of work when required.


• Intermediate to advanced MS office skills (Advanced Excel skills is a must)


• Understanding of retail management system and back office system


• Structured, process oriented at the same time approachable and strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to work within a team environment and under pressure.
