Acts to ensure patient satisfaction is maintained and responds to patient
questions and concerns. Ensures that policies, practices, procedures and
Patients' Bill of Rights are followed.


Essential Responsibilities and Duties

‎1. Attends to patients/families; responds to their inquiries and complaints;
liaises with concerned Departments to ensure satisfactory solutions.
‎2. Performs daily round in assigned area and acts on patients' requests as
needed.
‎3. Assists Patient Relations staff when needed.
‎4. Advocates for the patients' rights to obtain optimum required services.
‎5. Administers patient satisfaction survey and inputs data in the electronic
database. Utilizes feedback to facilitate system improvements to better meet
patient needs.
‎6. Attends to patients' requests.via the IPA ticketing system and outreach
requests. Distributes requests to the staff concerned.
‎7. Collects and inputs relevant data pertaining to issues and findings.
‎8. Acts as needed to cover various functions of Patient Relations as the need
arises.
‎9. Provides patients/families with feedback on issues of concern.
‎10. Collects and summarizes the comments of the Suggestion Boxes comments.
‎11. Follows all Hospital-related policies and procedures.
‎12. Participates in self and other's education, as applicable.


Education

IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration or equivalent required.


Experience Required

No experience required with IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration.
