Job Summary
The role requires the agent to carry out the day-to-day issuances of policies
(All lines) in accordance with instruction from Underwriter / Manager as per
express or implied policies, processes and procedures of the company; using
information and knowledge of market practices or be trained upon in doing such
tasks.
Job Responsibilities
* Issue quotations as per clear instructions from Underwriters
* Liaise with customers and inter-departments to satisfy the procedural checks in relation to policy issuance
* Take in advance monthly renewal reports and seek Underwriting opinions on the same
* Able to give suggestions on a mediocre basis to Underwriters in order to learn the trade
* Independently handle with responsibility the line of business, primarily for the captive needs
* Handle walk in and email customer queries on in house products
* Self-development towards next level through close analysis of underwriter jobs, independent assessment and suggestion
* Be in charge of year ending stock adjustments and policy adjustment for both Internal and external customer – Independent management
* Review account performance, claims information and payment history client wise
* Import and sort various reports as and when called for by the management
* Able to reply to re-insurer queries in support with Underwriters
* Evaluates client documents, order the risk to be ready for Underwriter assessment
* Handle customer inquiries.
* Be first in charge of all renewals including but not limited to creation of renewal list, preparation of notices and full follow up with reasons as to non-conversions as and when called for
* Be in a position to suggest leads for new businesses
* Coordinating with claims, IT and finance department
* Have a general idea about underwriting changes in the market
* Learn new products within or outside the same line
* Create and manage a proper documentation, both soft and hardcopies without errors and omissions of important communication
* Error free document issuance
* Assist system development with IT to create a seamless automation process of all products
Candidate Requirements
Preferably having minimum 2 years of related underwriting experience. Fresher
are welcome to apply
High School Diploma. / university graduate
Knowledge of MS Office (word, excel and powerpoint)
Bilingual - Must be fluent in English and Arabic communications
