A day in your life with us:
The Personal Assistant is responsible to provide personalized secretarial and
administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner.
* Act as the point of contact between the manager and internal/external clients
* Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments
* Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
* Handle requests and queries appropriately
* Organize travel arrangements
* Organise meetings & events which include hotel bookings, travel requirements and internal/external communications.
* Preparing reports, presentations and briefs as required
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
* Maintains correspondence with internal/external stakeholders
* Carry out administrative duties such as typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
* Devise and maintain office filing system
* Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Qualification
Who are you ?
* Knowledge of IKEA Concept, including our vision and business idea, IKEA culture and values
* Ability to prioritise and organise work and make the most efficient use of time available
* Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic is an added advantage.
* MS Office & UpToDate working knowledge of latest applications (MS Teams & Zoom) etc.
* Hungry for knowledge and wants to improve skills and learning, using this to benefit IKEA and grow personally.
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Enjoys working in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment.
* Ability to work independently and reliably on agreed working methods
* Ability to work with a high sense of urgency
* Driven to exceed goals.
* Eager to contribute while working together as part of a team
