We are looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager who will be responsible for
overseeing and managing supply chain projects to ensure efficient and
effective operations. You will play a critical role in coordinating cross-
functional teams, optimizing processes, and implementing strategic initiatives
to enhance the company's supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Execution:
* Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain projects from initiation to completion.
* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
* Develop project plans, including resource allocation, task assignment, and risk management strategies.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Process Improvement and Optimization:
* Identify areas for process improvement within the supply chain function.
* Analyze existing supply chain processes and systems, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance overall supply chain performance.
* Utilize data and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Supplier Relationship Management:
* Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to maintain positive relationships with suppliers and service providers.
* Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
* Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
* Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and strategic partnerships to improve supply chain efficiency.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, marketing, and finance teams, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
* Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions and systems to enhance supply chain visibility and automation.
* Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to drive alignment and achieve project goals.
* Performance Measurement and Reporting:
* Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance.
* Develop and maintain regular reporting mechanisms to monitor and communicate project progress, KPIs, and achievements.
* Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
* Present project updates and performance reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Proven experience as a Supply Chain Project Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Familiarity with Kuwaiti supply chain regulations and industry standards.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
