Assistant Restaurant Manager
Job Description
Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:
·Responsible for day to day operations and running of the restaurant during
any given service period.
Drives customer satisfaction by providing all guests with pleasant dining
experience
Upkeep of the image, standards and principal of the company, keeping a
transparent easily accessible style of management
Keep tab on the quality, quantity and consistency of all food and beverages
served in the restaurant
Avoids legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the company
standards, following policies and procedures and complying with local laws
Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, cutlery and
crockery, and utensil quality and placement; and monitoring food presentation
and service
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Enhances brand reputation by exploring opportunities to add value to company
image/profit
Assists with restaurant human resource objectives by orienting, training,
assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees;
communicating job expectations; planning,
monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; and enforcing
policies and procedures
Assist supervisors and Back of the House in fullest and ensure smooth
functioning of the restaurant.
