Job Summary.
Service Quality engineer is responsible for developing and coordinating the
quality management system to support the Service operations in the facility in
line with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Provide engineering technical support
for NOV Kuwait Downhole/DDT Service facility, Sales & Operations and Product
Line Engineering groups specific to Quality and Reliability. Analyzing the
trends of the performance of the tools and improve the product Reliability and
Service Quality. Assist the regional and local sales team for any business
tender related to quality management system.
Responsibilities
Workshop daily presence:
Monitor and ensure all quality standards are following during tool assembly,
disassembly, storage, and shipping.
Monitor service issues, damages on a daily basis.
Identify room for improvement in the tool service protocols.
Monitor and track vendor performance for critical suppliers.
Record all non-conformances in the system and close them in a timely manner.
initiate assign and monitor 5S implementation at service facility.
Accept, assign, follow up, close, and monitor the implementation of quality
observations.
Follow up and monitor the measuring instruments and update the system with
instruments status.
Monitor the competency program, support assessors and technicians on technical
units.
Responsible for internal/self audits planning and implementing
