* Execute and follow up health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
* Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law and corporate requirements.
* Support in data collection and entry on different company reporting platforms.
* Implement environmental programs and hazardous waste regulations and reporting.
* Identifying sustainability risks and appropriate mitigation measures and highlighting any opportunities to increase the organization's sustainability credentials.
* Design, development, implementation, communication and coordination of all environmental, health and safety issues within the Business Unit.
* Supports in annual HSEQ program implementation.
* Monitor compliance to policies and laws.
* Participates in the development of Health and Safety internal policies, procedures and working practices.
* Implementing, developing and maintaining a safety management system as per ISO Standard and company systems.
* Conducts regular site inspections/walk around to ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures and areas of improvements.
* Prepares and maintains inspection records and produces reports that suggest improvements.
* Maintains a working knowledge of Health and Safety best practices and industry policy changes.
* Produces health and safety related reports, newsletters and bulletins.
* Provides safety orientations, conducts toolbox talks and oversees the performance of all contractors in order to ensure that safe work practices are followed.
* Implement practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices in the workplace.
* Initiates and conducts emergency and safety drills.
* A range of additional ad hoc duties to support the wider team.

* Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (can be compensated against professional certifications in HSEQ field).
* More than ‎5 years of experience in HSEQ field operations.
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal) in Arabic and English.
* Working knowledge of environmental regulations as they pertain to company operations.
* Management systems and ISO certification previous involvement and experience.
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Demonstrate understanding of observed international regulations (e.g.: OSHA) and how they relate to company operations.
* Ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds and diverse settings (e.g.: governmental institution, contractors, JV and sister companies).
* Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
* Adhere to and exemplify our HSEQ standards and guidelines.

to reduce emissions resulting from the use of hydrocarbons by applying CCS and
low-carbon hydrogen technologies, potentially building up a business abating
‎20-‎30 million tonnes of CO2 per annum by ‎2040.
